Technology

The Last addition to us.
Technology has evolved at an amazing rate.
The Humans have developed an entity that will one day resemble us so much in sight and action that we will begin to consider them new members of society.
There are already sites dedicated to the Rights of Robots and sites dedicated to creating weapons to destroy robots.
Two of our usual reactions to new ideas, embrace or eliminate.
Technology is a new place in our minds where we must learn to act from a place of love. don’t kick your computer. it was made by us. it is our child. if you kick you kids, kick your computer. if you don’t, then don’t start. it’ll only end in tears.
A Good day at the Laudry mat.

That first Firebolt!
This is a shot of my testing out my Firebolt skills.
Leon Dale Photographer.
I have now taken the dive into Wordpress. I’ve been needing to get a new site for a while and waiting for a moment when a grand ‘o’ more was comfortable leaving my hands was no longer the best option. So here it is.
Now a site where I can recieve feedback and update photos when I need to.
Take a look at some older posts imported from blogger.
Pro’s and Con’s
Here’s Iron Man. I met him at one of the four hotels that comprised this years dragon con. I asked him for that $20 he owe me and he was like, ‘it’s in my pocket why don’t you come take it….’
so I was like…..hey, can I just take a picture instead?
I’ve been looking for someone who can make interesting head pieces for my photo shoots and was unable to find anything but the usual fair. I saw a lady wearing the kind of garment I’d been looking for
(and wearing it well I might add). I got myself a lot of business cards that facilitate me doing a lot more of these kind of shoots.
What a difference some well designed clothing can make! That’s the joy of design for me. Take a chair, a car, a hat and make it in to something that completely transforms the user in ways you wouldn’t have expected.
I met up with FireGirl too. She was hot! I mean Red Hot!! We didn’t talk for long, but that’s because I just way too cool (lol!) I said ‘yeh, maybe we should just chill out!’
And she was all like ‘well, if y’can’t stand the heat…..’
ok.
yeh.
RahMeek Rasul….A conversation.
Rahmeek Rasul came over bringing a glowing Buddah on his shirt. Rahmeek is a photographer too.
He had some words to say. we asked Rahmeek what would he teach the people and he said:
“compassion. Inform them on compassion, You’d be surprised who doesn’t know about compassion, who doesn’t really deal with the concept of it…but it is, a beautiful thing.”
And Stacy T says,
“so you feel that your work is about the concept of compassion?”
And says Rahmeek,
“it’s about compassion, understanding people, bringing other peoples worlds to others peoples worlds.
interconnectivity, it’s all connected and what happens is, people try to make the disconnect and that’s what happens–they become disconnected. by disconnecting yourself from other people–you disconnect yourself…..from the network, from the people, , from life.
And to me the idea is to stay connected.”
Stacy goes:
“So do you feel passion when you see your work?”
“oh yeh,” says Rah, “I remember Hadley was looking at my work and she said ‘hey is that your work?’ and I said’ yeh!’ she said ‘You get that excited?’ and I’m like ‘Yeh!’ –some of this {work} is old! and I still get excited! you know what I mean? it’s just…..I love this…..”
Big T goes:
“yeh, I can feel the energy, I really can. I can see and feel that energy and when you see your work I can see your really there, you’re in the moment!”
And I have to ask my favorite question before we finish. I ask how The Mighty Rah deals with obsticles and challenges in his life, and he said this:
“I say I take positive information, energy, people….it can be anything from meditation, prayer just kinda like….getting that still time, it’s like that whole….be still know that I’m God, y’know, recognize that God without but also recognizing that God within…”
I agree.
Stacy T says,
“where do you get your peace and solice?”
Rah says:
“photography gets me like that, the interacting with people. Sometimes interacting we can hit a cord in a conversation, I get real loud…I can totally get caught up….it’s all about the story, it’s all about the Narrative, it’s all about the Narr.
To me it’s the story, from begining to end wheather Adam and eve, adam met steve…it’s a story. it’s about mussa, moses and judas and addis ababa international……”
So I say, one last word before we go:
“Be peace, Move forward and get out of your own way.”
Well Thank you Rahmeek,
it’s been a fun chat>>>>
The Scoop Troop
I was on set one day, shooting for a well known T.V Chef. In the back was a blaze ‘a’ Kitchen!
it was literally on fire! (Flambe!) I was shooting them running around and grimacing and hollarin‘ and all ‘a’ dat, then I started shooting the details.
I opened the draw to find this anomaly.
Scoops lined up like good ole troops,
ready to storm the hill….
…Of ice cream….
The club’s room
The place was grand, with wonderful sculptures on the walls and lovely women loafin around and indulgent food just swimming! and good drinks….yes……
This room was particularly grand. I loved the fabrics lined up in formation, over us like possesive clouds! A regal display, why….I order two drinks in this room alone…..After the shoot….
aheh

It slipped off the bone like meat that was just right to eat.
